Memories of Birmingham Vulcan Overlook
The Hughes Gang seemingly spent as much time growing up in Birmingham as anywhere else. Nevertheless, the passing of Sallie Porter in 1985 marked the last occasion on which any of us would intentionally seek out this beautiful city.
 
Finally, we had opportunity to revisit familiar haunts of the 60's and 70's. Follow us on our April 1999 trip and click on these memories along the old US Route 31.
